Privacy
What this website records, what it does not, and who else sees it.
The short version
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and makes no request to any third party. There are no accounts and no forms — every way of contacting us on this site opens your own mail client. Nothing you type reaches us unless you send it.
What the server records
This server keeps no access log. Writing one is a setting rather than a default, and it is switched off — nothing here records that you asked for a particular page, or from where.
What it does keep is the server talking about itself: starting, stopping, and failing, plus one line for each demo document generated naming the report, its format and its size. Those entries describe our software's behaviour rather than yours — though an error recorded while serving a request can carry the address that caused it.
They are kept for seven days and then deleted. That is enforced by the server rather than left to whenever the disk fills.
The demo documents are generated from fixed sample data that ships with the product. You cannot supply data to them, so there is nothing of yours in one.
Who else sees it
Traffic to this site passes through Cloudflare, which provides its DNS and sits in front of the server. It sees every request before we do, keeps its own record of them under its own retention terms, and may set its own cookies for security purposes. If anything about your visit is written down anywhere, it is written down there rather than here.
Nothing else is in the path. There is no analytics provider, no advertising network, no embedded video, no font or script loaded from anyone else's server.
If you write to us
Mail sent to admin@porticosoft.com is read and kept so that we can answer it and handle anything that follows from it — an evaluation, a licence, a support thread.
Please do not send live customer data. If you need to show us a report that misbehaves, replace the real figures with fake ones first.
The product is separate
This page is about the website. Paragon itself runs inside your own application, on your own infrastructure, and reports nothing back to us — the documents it generates never reach a machine of ours. That is a property of the software rather than a promise made here, and it is described on the about page.
Asking about your data
Anything on this page — including what we hold about you, and asking us to delete it — goes to admin@porticosoft.com, and we will answer it.
